fishing for the future

Fishing for the future is important so we can have more
fish in the future here is some ideas you can do for
fishing for the future.

Safety on the water you need to wear a life jacket don’t put
it on the side of the boat tell your family. One reason you have
to wear a life jacket is because It will keep you safe on the water.
In case something happens on the boat and you will be
prepared . Did you know 23 people died New Zealand in a
boat crash.

Seabirds don’t catch seabirds. We should not catch seabirds
because they can tell you where are the fish are so you can
catch them.  SOS-save the seabirds. Some of the black
petrel birds are nearly gone so we must protect them.
We need to stop chucking plastic in the water it's not
good.

Catching fish/taking fish if you want to take a fish here
is what you need to know. A snapper has to be 30cm
if its not put it back. You need a fishing ruler so you
can check the size of the fish. How do we check the
size of the fish? Get the ruler measure for the nose
to the tail. If you are going to pick up the fish use a
wet towel so it can breathe you must put big fish in the
water because it  might have eggs so you must let the
fish have the eggs and make more fish for the future.
Also put the fish in salt ice.

Fishing for the future I hope you listen and do these
things when you are fishing. And I hope you save
the Black petrol birds and seabirds.
